About Us

Equitao (metEOlien SARL) is an independent consulting engineering office dedicated to wind energy.

Equitao was created in 2005 by Mrs. Corinne Dubois with the willingness of developing wind farms in emerging countries. Equitao developed an innovative methodology to assess and model wind energy for those countries that do not have enough historical weather datas.

In 2010, Equitao decided to apply this affordable methodology to the development of small wind turbines in European countries. That’s why Equitao took the name of metEOlien in order to represent itself better in France along with its techniques in wind modeling.
